Blooming Group and Alice Pizza sign the framework agreement for the development of the Alice brand in Piedmont

Blooming Group SpA and Alice Pizza SpA have signed the framework agreement for the development of the ‘Alice’ brand in Piedmont in Milan. The agreement involves a plan for 6 new openings in the territory of Turin and Piedmont in the next 2 years. This commitment marks the further expansion of the Alice brand and the hiring of 60 people.

The first concrete result of the agreement is represented by the opening, in the coming weeks, of an Alice Pizza point in Turin, which will be added to the three already present in the area.

“This agreement,” emphasizes Davide Canavesio, CEO of Blooming Group, “represents another important piece for the group in its growth path, being able to count among its brands a brand like Alice, of primary importance in the food sector and in full development. We believe in this product and in the possibilities of further growth, which means above all more jobs at a time that is certainly very difficult for employment.”

“The partnership with a solid group like Blooming,” declares Claudio Baitelli, CEO of Alice Pizza, “is for us another demonstration that the Alice brand is attractive for entrepreneurs who want to diversify and develop business in the world of food retail. The future years will be full of challenges but also of great satisfactions to achieve together.”

Blooming Group SpA is an industrial group in the food & beverage sector. Born in 2017 with the creation of BKNO, today Blooming is the Italian leader in the retail sector with the brands Burger King, Befed, Il Barbiere, and with its own brands Lab, Il Barotto, and Gallo’s.

“We nurture brands” is the claim that guides its development, territorially widespread in the main regions of Northern Italy. A strong focus on sustainability and the centrality of people complete the values of the group, which counts over 500 employees.

An experienced management leads the company with the strong ambition to grow, supporting employment and the development of the territories in which it operates.

Alice Pizza was founded in Rome in 1990 and today is one of the largest Italian food retail companies, characterized by a simple, totally artisanal and high-quality product, and by a unique format in the world of pizza but very accessible. With a heritage of over 60 recipes for sliced pizza, typical of Roman and Italian tradition in trays, Alice has 190 pizzerias, in Italy and abroad, and more than 2000 employees.

In 2019, the company saw the entry of an Italian investment fund, IDeA Taste of Italy, which plans an even tighter development but with the same objective as the founder: to make sliced pizza known in Italy and the world.
