A statement that perfectly sums up the long-term vision of Davide Canavesio, President and CEO of Blooming Group, interviewed in the November 2024 issue of Food Service Italia.
In the interview, Canavesio shares Blooming’s journey as a company capable of interpreting and leading change in the franchising world, supporting both national and international brands through solid, scalable, and coherent development strategies. With over 90% of its revenue generated from the food sector, Blooming positions itself as a key player for brands looking to expand in the Italian market through professional and structured management.
The environment remains challenging: rising costs, cautious consumer spending, and a market where household purchasing power is only now starting to recover. However, the outlook is clear. In Italy, organized chains currently account for only 10–12% of the sector, compared to a European average of 30%—a gap that represents a major opportunity for companies like Blooming, which focus on high standards of quality, consistency, and customer experience.
The year 2025 will be pivotal: new agreements, potential entries of foreign brands, and the aim to further establish Blooming’s role as a franchising accelerator for structured brands ready to invest with vision and method.
